I've never had a problem with foils before, I have been getting one every 5-6 months for years. My last foil at Salon Escape was overprocessed on the entire crown area leaving me with dry, crunchy and splitting hair that needed to be cut to a length of 2 inches. What remains is still damaged and breaking off. My main fashion accessory will be hats for a while :-(

I usually have my hair foiled every 4 months and have been doing so for years without a single problem until I had my hair foiled last @ Salon Escape. I "had" long HEALTHY blonde hair and just wanted to highlight the crown with a partial foil. I was assured when I made the appointment that the beautician was experienced and had been doing hair for 15 years. The foil was extremely overprocessed and my hair now crunches when I touch it. I went back in to complain and one of the owners hacked off most of the very damaged hair but everything left is still very dry (instead of admitting my hair was ruined, she tried to blame it on my conditioner..the same conditioner I have been using for 2 years without a problem)....In the end I had all but 2-3 inches taken off the crown and the remaining hair is still splitting, dry, and quite frankly a fire hazard! I went back again to demand a refund. The receptionist was appologetic, but what upset me the most was that the same beautician who did the foil was standing close by and heard everything and just smirked. ....this will take years to grow out and the only person who accepted responsibility was the receptionist. So much for customer satisfaction....
